Angela Dixon

Director

Angela Dixon is a finance specialist and experienced director with a strong commercial background. She brings deep expertise in financial performance, capital asset management, investment strategy, and risk management. Angela is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Member of the NZ Institute of Directors. 

In recent years, Angela has transitioned from an executive career into full-time governance. She holds governance roles across large and complex organisations, including Chair of the Audit & Risk Committees for the NZ Lotteries Commission and Union Medical Benefits Society. She is Chair of the Risk Committee at AIG NZ and is on the board of Centrix, a New Zealand-owned credit bureau. Her professional experience is complemented by a lived understanding of the agricultural sector, shaped by her early years growing up on a dairy farm in the Waikato, followed by her family’s move into avocado farming. 

Angela has more than 20 years' experience in executive and finance roles and was previously CFO in a number of companies, both public and private. She is passionate about reconnecting with her rural roots and contributing to the future of agribusiness. Her on-farm experience and strategic finance roles provide valuable insight into the sector’s challenges and opportunities. She is committed to aligning governance with the Crown’s expectations.
