Stu Husband is a respected negotiator, mediator, and governance leader with over three decades of experience across iwi engagement, regional politics, farming and civil service.

He brings a unique blend of grassroots understanding, cultural competency, and strategic leadership. Stu has led negotiations and mediated partnerships between iwi and major commercial entities. He has supported the successful delivery of large-scale development projects.

Stu is a proud graduate of the Federated Farmers Cadet Scheme, which provided him a pathway to his farm ownership. He is passionate about Landcorp’s role in offering the same opportunities to future rangatahi.
