About us

Growing food and fibre while caring for the land.

Pāmu, the brand name of Landcorp Farming Limited, is a state-owned farming business managing nearly 360,000 hectares across more than 100 farms throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. Of the farms we manage, 83 farms are company-owned and 27 are leased.

Under the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986, we are required to operate as a successful business while being profitable, efficient, socially responsible and a good employer. We also play an active role in supporting the Crown's Te Tiriti o Waitangi settlement process through the return of Crown-owned land to iwi.

Our Farms

Our farms span a wide range of landscapes across New Zealand.

We focus on farming productively and sustainably, while caring for the land, water, animals and communities connected to our farms. We also test and adopt new approaches that help improve farming performance over time.

Farming Excellence

Good farming starts with looking after our land, water, animals and people.

How we do it
Community investment

Our people live and work in rural communities across New Zealand. We support local schools, iwi, community groups and charities where we can.
