06 October 2026

Pāmu has appointed its current Chief Investment Officer, Andrew Sliper, as its next Chief Financial Officer. The appointment follows current Chief Financial Officer Steve McJorrow's decision to step down from the role to focus on pursuing governance opportunities. Steve will remain with Pāmu until April 2027 to support a planned transition and handover.

Pāmu Chief Executive Officer Mark Leslie said Andrew brings extensive commercial, investment, and strategic leadership experience, together with a deep understanding of the business.

"Andrew has played an important role in decisions that have strengthened Pāmu in recent years. His experience in capital allocation, commercial performance, investment decision-making, and long-term value creation will be valuable as we continue to improve business performance and resilience. The appointment also reflects the depth of capability within Pāmu and our commitment to developing our people."

Andrew Sliper said he was looking forward to leading the Finance team and building on its strong foundations.

"Pāmu is a significant New Zealand farming business with talented people and a clear focus on performance and long-term value. I am looking forward to working with our experienced Finance team and continuing to strengthen the commercial and financial capability that supports decision-making across the business."

Steve McJorrow will continue as a member of the Pāmu Leadership Team during the transition period, working to support continuity, knowledge transfer, stakeholder relationships, and a seamless handover of responsibilities.

Mark Leslie said the extended transition period reflected both the importance of the CFO role and the value of Steve's experience.

"Having Steve and Andrew working together over the coming months provides valuable continuity and supports a thorough, well-planned transition. Steve has made an outstanding contribution during more than a decade with Pāmu. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening our financial discipline, capability, and performance, and has helped guide the business through significant change. While we are pleased Steve will remain with us through this transition, we also support his decision to pursue governance opportunities, where the experience and insight he has developed at Pāmu will be highly valued."

Steve McJorrow said the timing was right to begin the next stage of his career.

"After more than 10 years with Pāmu, I have decided to step down as Chief Financial Officer and begin building a portfolio of governance roles. This transition period provides an excellent opportunity to ensure a smooth handover, and I am pleased to be able to support Andrew as he takes on the role. Andrew knows the business well and understands both the opportunities and challenges ahead. He has already made a significant contribution through his leadership of the investment portfolio and his commercial expertise. I look forward to supporting him and helping ensure the business continues to be well served."
